Abstract.

Rolling shutter cameras are widely used in today’s technology; however, the Structure from Motion problem in the rolling shutter setting remains largely unsolved, so distortion correction and approximate global shutter solvers are often used instead. In this talk, I will present an approach to rolling shutter Structure from Motion in which the distortions present in a single rolling shutter image can be exploited to reconstruct the camera motion together with 3D world points or lines. This is joint work with Kim Kiehn, Petr Hrubý, and Kathlén Kohn.
