In this talk we will revise some classical results and definitions on paraproducts of Bony's type (see e.g. [CM, Thm 33] and [T, Appendix D]). We will also present some recent results on endpoint estimates for bilinear paraproducts operators on local bmo spaces [RS].

We will motivate this study by giving some applications to the investigations on the boundedness of bilinear Fourier integral operators and bilinear Coifman-Meyer multipliers.
