In algebraic geometry, the Fourier–Mukai transform is an equivalence between derived categories of coherent sheaves on dual abelian varieties. In this talk I will discuss a K-theoretic analogue of the Fourier–Mukai transform and illustrate its usefulness by giving a new concise proof of Hodgkin's theorem.
