The classical Riesz-Kolmogorov Theorem is a compactness criterion for subsets of the Hilbert space of square integrable functions. It describe these compact sets in terms of their behavior under phase-space shifts and can also be stated in terms of pseudodifferential operators. We are going to indicate generalizations involving the magnetic phase-space translations, the magnetic Weyl calculus and the magnetic Fourier-Wigner transform.
