Johan Andersson: Aspects of universality

Abstract:

 We discuss some of our recent work and work in progress on Voronin universality of zeta and L-functions. In particular we talk about Voronin universality in several complex variables where we can prove that the Euler-Zagier multiple zeta-function is universal, and where we have some work in progress on the double Dirichlet series. We also talk about universality with scaling, where for example we obtain the first universality result for the Hurwitz zeta-function with a single given algebraic irrational parameter.
