Denis Osin: Groups with hyperbolically embedded subgroups

The class of groups with hyperbolically embedded subgroups generalizes relatively hyperbolic groups and includes many other important examples such as mapping class groups, Out(F_n), groups acting properly on CAT(0) spaces and containing rank one isometries, etc. I will survey some recent results about algebraic, geometric, and analytic properties of these groups.
