I shall attempt to give a brief survey of some results about approximate cloaking (i.e., how to make things approximately invisible). Time permitting, I shall discuss the Impedance problem and the Helmholtz problem, as well as briefly touch upon the full Wave Equation. My own work in this area is joint with Bob Kohn, Mike Weinstein, Dan Onofrei and Hoai-Minh Nguyen.
