Abstract: The idea of this project was to look at the eigenvalues of one and two dimensional laplace operator on domains with fractal boundaries. The one dimensional case was based on Falconer’s post-graduate text, and the two dimensional example was my own work. The idea of the talk would be to roughly talk about where research stands when it comes to PDEs on Fractal Domains, the complications I encountered, the project itself and some applications.
