Lisa Nicklasson: The Lefschetz properties of monomial complete intersection algebras in positive characteristic

Abstract: This talk will focus on two questions about algebras of positive characteristic:
1. When does a monomial complete intersection in two variables have the strong Lefschetz property?
2. When does a monomial complete intersection in three variables have the weak Lefschetz property?
I will give an answer to the first question, and give a brief description of the method I used. Then I will discuss what is known about the second question.
