Linus Lidman Bergqvist: Cyclicity in function spaces on the polydisc

In many areas of mathematics, one deals with a set as well as an operation on this set. In this context it is often interesting to characterize the invariant subsets of this operation. In this talk, we will consider a family of function spaces on the polydisc, together with the shift operators "multiplying by x". I will give some historical background regarding the question of characterizing the invariant subspaces under these operations, as well as introducing several ideals and methods that have been used in this area.
