Topics in geometric combinatorics

Topics such as f-vector theory, algebraic shifting, Coxeter complexes and buildings, subspace arrangements, and topological methods in combinatorics, will be treated. The exact choice of topics will be made as we go along and may depend on the interests and wishes of the participants.
This course is intended mainly for doctoral students in combinatorics, but may be of interest also to students specializing in algebra, geometry or topology.
