Elements of Potential theory

The course is based mainly on first chapters of T.Ransford's book 'Potential theory in the complex plane' plus some additional material and will start on Tuesday, January 29, 10.15 - 12.00 in room 306, bldn 6, Kräftriket, (Dept. of Math., SU).

(The course is planned to be held on Tuesdays, but the exact time might be discussed with the participants.)
Prerequisits
First courses in complex analysis, topology and measure theory.
Examination
Homeworks and/or presentations. (For Ph D students presentations are obligatory at the end of the course.)
Besides the standard material we hope to formulate a number of intriguing open problems in this area.
