In my talk I shall present some of the topics that I have been considering in my research. From the application view point these include local and global X-ray tomography and functional magnetic resonance imaging, both with limited measurement data. The considered methods include Bayesian inversion methods, wavelet-based multi-resolution analysis and constrained optimization methods such as interior-point methods. Both simulated and experimental data are considered.
