Jan Schröer: Preprojective algebras associated with symmetrizable Cartan matrices

This is part of a joint work with Christof Geiss and Bernard Leclerc. Given a symmetrizable Cartan matrix we define a preprojective algebra via quivers with relations. These algebras are defined over arbitrary ground fields and generalize the classical preprojective algebras.
