Abstract: We will look at Euler angle representation of rotations, and the even subalgebras in Clifford algebra which form a double cover of the special orthogonal group. Some of their properties and metrics will be compared and some suggestions made on how they could be applied in Nordlings variable selection system for high dimensions. This will hopefully serve as an introduction to create interest in the subject and shed some light the difficulties that occur at different stages.
