Iara Goncalves: Perverse sheaves: not really sheaves, not exactly perverse
Time: Fri 2014-05-16 13.15 - 14.00
Location: Room 306, building 6, Kräftriket, Department of mathematics, Stockholm University
Participating: Iara Goncalves, SU
In this talk I will give a brief description of how the perverse sheaves have their origin in the intersection homology, their definition as a subcategory of the derived category of sheaves and some basic applications.
I will present an example that is related to the fact that every perverse sheaf has a finite composition series.
