Abstract: We continue our tropical journey by asking whether it is possible to work with tropical ideals and develop a theory of "tropical commutative algebra". In a recent work, Diane Maclagan and Felipe Rincón lay the basis for an investigation in this direction, where many properties seem to mimic the classical setup.
