Felix Wierstra: Algebras with divided symmeries

In general when we speak about an algebra A over an operad P we talk about a vector space together with a map from the composition product of P and A to A. In this talk we will describe another possibility to construct a monad associated to the operad. We will do this by defining another monad to the operad P which will give us algebras with divided symmetries. The talk is mainly based on Benoit Fresse's article "On the homotopy of simplicial algebras over an operad".
