Sarah Alsaadi: The Four Functions Theorem

The four functions theorem of Ahlswede and Daykin (1978) is a correlation inequality for four functions defined on a finite distributive lattice. We will give some applications of this result, and show several versions of the theorem, including one for polynomials in several variables.
