Erik Duse: On the free boundary of the variational problem for dimer models

Abstract:
In this talks I will show how to get a classification of the regularity of the free boundary of the  variational problem for dimer models under some natural assumptions. This involves the study a non-smooth convex functional defined on convex set of Lipschitz functions. I will also briefly mention how to deduce the regularity of the minimizer for some special dimer models.
