Inna Malysheva: The C-invariant of tangles

I will talk about tangles, which were defined by J. Conway in 1970. Tangles are objects related to links and knots. The basis for this talk will be my Master thesis. I will present the Kauffman bracket polynomial for tangles and at the end I will present the C-invariant of tangles, which I defined and studied in my Master thesis.
