Nasrin Altafi: Jordan types of graded Artinian Gorenstein algebras

Abstract.

Artinian Gorenstein algebras is one of the main objects in studying the Lefschetz properties in many branches of mathematics. The Jordan type of an Artinian algebra A and a linear form L determines the Jordan blocks of the multiplication map by L on A. Jordan type is a finer invariant than the weak or strong Lefschetz property. In this talk, I will summarize some of the results and open problems on Jordan types of graded Artinian Gorenstein algebras that are mainly of low codimensions.
