Bashar Saleh: Minimal Sullivan models

We will review the notion of higher homotopy groups and give a brief introduction to rational homotopy theory. Thereafter, we will introduce the notion of minimal Sullivan models of algebras (and spaces) and see how they are related to rational homotopy theory.
If time allows, I will say something about formal differential graded algebras.
