Andy Baker: Calculating with small cell-R modules

Abstract: For connective commutative S-algebras, there are good notions of CW modules and I will discuss how to go about doing calculations with these following traditional methodology in this brave new context. In particular, the Adams spectral sequence is a useful tool and for some examples such as kO and tmf this leads to well explored territory familiar from work of Mahowald, Bruner, Rognes and others on A(1) and A(2) modules.
