Our presentation will address Wittgenstein’s construal of different kinds of mathematical statements, such as singular and general equations, with special attention to his handling of the notion of infinity. We will argue for a close proximity between his proposals and those of Category Theory. We will also pay close attention to the differences between his elucidations and the ones offered by contemporary Intuitionism.
