The well-known puzzle Rubik’s cube can be described using group theory. I will generalise the "Rubik’s puzzle" to any Platonic solid and describe the resulting puzzles via group theory. A terribly inefficient but conceptually simple method for solving the puzzle will also be given as a by-product of the group theoretic interpretation. The talk is based on a paper by Edward Turner and Karen Gold.

All participants are encouraged to bring their own cube.
