Siddarth Kannan: Pólya–Petersen theory for moduli spaces of curves and maps

Abstract:

I will discuss joint work with T. Song (Cambridge), in which we generalize ideas of G. Pólya and D. Petersen in order to compute cut-and-paste invariants of moduli spaces of stable curves and stable maps.
