It is well-known that a scheme (or even algebraic stack) can be identified with its tensor category of quasi-coherent sheaves. This motivates to generalize several (universal) constructions from algebraic geometry to arbitrary cocomplete tensor categories. We will illustrate this process for affine and projective schemes as well as tangent bundles.
