Participating: Arturo Pianzola, University of Alberta, Edmonton.
Over the last decade some deep connections have been discovered between the theory of reductive groups schemes [SGA3] developed by Demazure and Grothendieck and infinite dimensional Lie theory. The appearance of affine-like algebras related to dessins d'enfants (joint work with V. Chernousov and P. Gille) is quite recent.
