Alan Sola: Derivatives of rational inner functions

Abstract: The topic of this talk is the analysis of singularities of rational inner functions on the unit bidisk, with applications to integrability of their derivatives at or near the boundary.
As an illustration, I will present a characterization of\(H^p\)-membership of partial derivatives in terms of geometric properties of the zero set of a function, and I will indicate how a blend of analytic and algebraic geometric techniques can be used to prove such results.
