David Gepner: Elliptic (co)homology and duality

ABSTRACT: We will begin with a gentle introduction to elliptic cohomology from the point of view of derived algebraic geometry, following Lurie et. al. We will then consider duality in this context; in particular, how that forces a close relationship between the equivariant elliptic homology and cohomology for certain compact Lie groups.
