Anssi Lahtinen: Higher operations in string topology of classifying spaces

Computations of non-trivial higher string topology operations have been lamentably rare in the literature. In this talk, I will discuss my recent work providing explicit calculations of a wealth of non-trivial operations in the context of string topology of classifying spaces of compact Lie groups. In addition, I will point out applications of these computations to the homology of automorphism groups of free groups, holomorphs of free groups, affine groups over the integers, and affine groups over the field of two elements.
