The main goal of the course is to give an overview of the current status of research in the are of quantum graphs - one of the rapidly growing directions in modern mathematical physics. On the other hand the course can be seen as an introduction into the spectral theory of Schrödinger equation, since we are going to discuss several methods and techniques borrowed from that theory. The course will include not only a basic introduction to what quantum graphs are, but will describe the most recent developments: many of the results to be discussed are still unpublished. Interested participants may benefit from numerous research problems that will be formulated during the course.

The course is based on the book manuscript which is in its final stage of preparation.
