In all living cells, DNA is transcribed into RNA which in turn codes for different proteins. The study of transcripts in a cell is therefore central to understand the cells' current activity: this kind of analysis is called transcriptomics. My research concerns computational methods for the analysis of transcriptomic sequencing data, involving sequence clustering, sequence error correction and consensus forming of so-called isoforms, denoting protein variants. As a primary approach we use graph-based analysis techniques to produce isofoms.
