Sandro Vaienti: Thermodynamic formalism of random open systems

Abstract:

We construct a thermodynamic formalism for dynamical systems perturbed in a quenched way with general potentials and the presence of holes. This will allow us to study a few recurrence properties like the escape rate, extreme value distributions and the compound Poisson statistics.
