Qimh Xantcha: ON EXTENSIONS OF POLYNOMIAL FUNCTORS

We discuss the problem of classifying extensions of polynomial functors. In particular, we present some recent progress on the conjecture on the non-existence of non-trivial extensions of symmetric   powers by divided powers.
