This talk will give an introduction to the flag algebra approach of A.Razborov
that has been successfully applied to many problems of extremal
combinatorics. We discuss its applications to the questions of Erdos
and of Erdos-Rademacher on the minimum number of k-cliques in a graph
with given independence number and with given edge density.
