Mark Sapir: Complicated residually finite groups

This is a joint work with O. Kharlampovich and A. Myasnikov. We prove, in particular, that there exist finitely presented residually finite (even solvable) groups G with arbitrarily complicated recursive word problem and arbitrarily large subgroup growth function F_G.
