Magnus Goffeng: Charge deficiencies and Landau levels

I will give a short introduction to Landau levels in higher dimensions and especially properties of Toeplitz operators on ditto. The index theory of these Toeplitz operators correspond to topological properties of the underlying material, namely charge deficiencies. The finale of the talk will consist of an index theorem for these operators.
