Prerequisites: Knowledge of undergraduate analysis and algebra, and familiarity with Fourier analysis, especially on finite abelian groups. Some exposure to additive combinatorics, ergodic theory, Lie groups or Lie algebras would be helpful but is not required.

Content: A reading course where we learn together about the various aspects of higher order Fourier analysis, building up to a proof of Szemerédi’s theorem for \(k = 4\). Here's the course web page .
