Hailong Dao: On linear resolution and WLP of monomial ideals

Abstract

Let I be a monomial ideal in a polynomial ring S such that S/I is Artinian. I will present some new work on two related problems. The first with David Eisenbud on where I has the property N_p (namely when the resolution of I is linear for \(p-1\) steps). The second with Ritika Nair on when S/I has the Weak Lefschetz Property.
