Gustav Ståhl: Total blow-ups of modules

I will talk about the projective spectrum of the Rees algebra of a module and show that it has a universal property that generalizes the one for classical blow-ups. As applications, I will show how the total blow-up can be used to describe birational projective morphisms as well as flatifications of modules.
