Gabrielle Galletti: Which polynomials are Erhart polynomials

Abstract: The biggest challenge in Erhart theory is to characterize the polynomials which are Ehrhart polynomials of a lattice polytope. Already from dimension 3 this problem is widely open. I will give a proper introduction to this beautiful question, describe the combinatorics involved and mention some small improvements that we have managed to perform so far.
