Fredrik Ekström: Random limsup sets of rectangles in regular spaces

This talk is about the Hausdorff dimension of limsup sets of rectangles whose centres are chosen randomly according to a product of Ahlfors regular probability measures. Almost surely, the Hausdorff dimension is given by the critical parameter for convergence of the sum of a variant of the singular value function applied to the rectangles.
