Facets of Geometry

The purpose of the conference is twofold. Firstly, we want to honor the memory of our dear colleagues Torsten Ekedahl and Mikael Passare who passed away prematurely. For this reason we invite their collaborators, friends and students to give talks in the main areas of their mathematical activity.

Secondly, we have an ambition to organize a broader event presenting leading areas of research in mathematics at Stockholm university where both were employed for the major part of their professional lives.
