Emmanuel Germain: Fundamental C*-algebras of a graph of C*-algebras

Using the notion of the fundamental group of a graph of groups as a template, we will describe what is the fundamental *-algebra of a graph of C*-algebras, give different C*-norms that can be considered in this situation, give conditions for exactness and compute the KK -theory of the C*-algebras obtained. The case of the amalgamated free product will be discussed in details.
