Eric Ahlqvist: Sheaves

I will introduce the concept of a sheaf on a site. We will define push-forwards and pull-backs of sheaves, and discuss a case where it is easy to define a left adjoint of pull-back. We will discuss some easy examples for each definition to give you some intuition. I will not assume that the listeners are familiar with category theory or algebraic geometry.
