Brian Harbourne: A new perspective on problems related to the SHGH Conjecture

The SHGH Conjecture addresses the problem of when fat point subschemes in the plane with generic support fail to impose independent conditions on the linear system of all forms of some degree t. In recent work, my collaborators David Cook II, Juan Migliore, Uwe Nagel and I consider the problem for certain incomplete linear systems.
