Wei Ping Li: A road map to Gromov-Witten invariants on Calabi–Yau quintic threefold

Abstract:

I will briefly discuss the known work on genus zero Gromov–Witten invariants and genus one Gromov–Witten invariants of quintic Calabi–Yau hypersurface. I will explain the necessary changes of viewpoints and methods to work on higher genus Gromov–Witten invariants of the quintics.
