 The point scatterer on a flat torus is a popular model in Quantum Chaos to study the transition between chaos and integrability in quantum systems. Following a brief introduction to the subject I will discuss joint work with Zeev Rudnick on wave function statistics and the eigenvalue spacing distribution.
